From 19–22 August 2026, Uttar Pradesh welcomes a high-level Japanese business delegation for a significant multi-city investment engagement spanning New Delhi, Noida, Agra, Lucknow and Varanasi. The initiative brings together leading Japanese CEOs, investors, industry representatives and government stakeholders to explore the growing business and investment potential of Uttar Pradesh.
The engagement provides a platform to strengthen economic cooperation between India and Japan, while creating meaningful opportunities for businesses to connect, exchange ideas and explore potential partnerships. Discussions will focus on a wide range of sectors, including manufacturing, infrastructure, green transformation, renewable energy, tourism, technology and other emerging areas, reflecting Uttar Pradesh’s expanding economic landscape and investment potential.
Through B2B and B2G meetings, industry interactions, investment discussions and cultural engagements, the programme seeks to facilitate stronger connections between Japanese businesses and stakeholders in Uttar Pradesh. It also aims to encourage greater collaboration, identify new avenues for investment and support long-term partnerships that can contribute to sustainable economic growth.
The multi-city format will showcase the diverse opportunities available across the state while providing Japanese businesses with a deeper understanding of Uttar Pradesh’s industrial ecosystem, infrastructure, markets and future growth prospects.
As India and Japan continue to build on their strong economic relationship, the U.P.–Japan Investment Meet 2026 represents an important step towards expanding business cooperation and creating a shared platform for innovation, investment and growth.
Building stronger partnerships. Creating new opportunities. Powering shared growth.
